How we stitch

The short answer is - with obsessive attention to detail! 

We started with a great team of tailors. Our Master Tailor, Sagir, has 15 years of experience working with major fashion studios in Mumbai and Delhi. What we love about Sagir is his love for experimentation, his willingness to do something over and over until it is perfect and that he is sometimes even more obsessive about the details than we are! Under Sagir, we have 3 tailors of varying degrees of experience but the same attention to detail that Sagir has. 

Working with authentic, traditionally woven 200 count muslin is an art in and of itself. And our team of tailors, with Sagir at the helm, have now mastered the technique. 

Speaking of technique, our clothing features techniques that focus on how your skin experiences our clothes (we kind of have to, after sourcing the fabric so meticulously!) and on the longevity of the garment.

For example, we use French seams. No tickly irritation because of open fabric edges. It's all neatly sealed. And even though they take much more tailoring time, French seams last much longer. Even though life might give you occasion to, Label Rama clothes will never fall apart at the seams.
